Lynn Durham is the Assistant Vice President and Chief of Staff to the President of the Georgia Institute of Technology. She serves as a senior advisor to the president and a member of the President’s Cabinet and chairs the President’s task forces on Mental Health and Sexual Violence Prevention. Prior to her career in higher education, Lynn was a congressional staff member in the district office of Congressman Larry J. Hopkins and a researcher and writer for the respected political newsletter, The Tennessee Journal. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Radford University and a Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University.  Lynn is  the co-chair of the Survivorship Advisory Board for the Georgia Center for Oncology Research and Education and a two-time cancer survivor.
