Harvey James Hamrick served as Chief of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Kaiser Permanente Georgia beginning in 2011. In 2016 he became Senior Medical Director with Flatiron Health in New York City and maintains a clinical practice at KP-Georgia in Atlanta. Dr. Hamrick earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology - Oncology Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Hamrick serves on the Kaiser Permanente National Inter-Regional Cancer Leadership Council, the KP National Cancer Chiefs Council, the Executive Leadership Council of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Cancer Society, and as a Southeast Permanente Medical Group Political Ambassador.
