Georgia Cancer Trials, Georgia’s only state-wide cancer clinical trials database has new functionality that allows research sites across the state to update their own studies on the website. The site has been tested and feedback confirms that the site is user friendly and gives clinical research professionals across the state more control over the information seen on Georgia Cancer Trials. The Georgia Cancer Trials site is offered by Georgia CORE through a partnership with the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups. Currently, the admin tool is being used at sites in Atlanta, Albany, Athens, Columbus, Dublin, Gainesville, Macon, Marietta, Savannah, Thomasville, Tucker and Valdosta. Training sessions to assist with understanding the functionality of the site was provided in July 2009.
