Cancer conference to focus on best practices

Georgia hospitals accredited by the Commission on Cancer will share best practices for improving the quality of patient care at a first-of-its-kind conference at Georgia Tech next month.
The “Best and Promising Practices in Quality Cancer Care: Meeting the 2012 Commission on Cancer Standards” conference is hosted by Georgia CORE (Center for Oncology Research and Education) in partnership with the Georgia Research Alliance. The conference is targeted to multidisciplinary representatives of Commission on Cancer (CoC) programs, including leaders from Georgia’s cancer centers, academic institutions and CoC accredited hospitals.
