Experts: Prostate cancer treatment has advanced

Doctors and researchers are optimistic about the latest findings in the treatment and management of prostate cancer, despite several challenges and the continuing quest for a 100 percent cure rate. In Georgia, 7,900 new cases of prostate cancer are expected to be discovered this year, according to figures from the American Cancer Society. Overall, prostate cancer affects 1 in 6 men aged 50 to 70, with African-American men at the highest risk, according to doctors.
