Georgia CORE Featured in the Laura & John Arnold Foundation's Giving Library Video Collection

2/17/2014

Philanthropists are all faced with the challenge of how to “give smart” – how to make informed and impactful decisions with their giving. This is the driving force behind the Giving Library, an online tool for philanthropists to practically and efficiently explore a large number of giving opportunities. The Giving Library is a collection of videos in which leaders of nonprofit organizations from across the country convey compelling information about their organization’s mission, objectives and needs.

Established by Laura and John Arnold, the Giving Library offers philanthropists an innovative way to enhance their strategic charitable giving. Donors can explore an online archive of video interviews to locate, study, compare and engage with hundreds of nonprofit organizations across the country. The Giving Library also serves nonprofit organizations by enhancing donor access through a compelling medium, increasing overall visibility, and providing an opportunity to learn about peer organizations across the country.

Georgia CORE, the Center for Oncology Research and Education, was recently selected to be a part of the Giving Library. President and CEO Nancy M. Paris, MS, FACHE traveled to Houston, TX in June to shoot a video highlighting Georgia CORE for the Giving Library. Watch the video below and learn more about the work Georgia CORE is doing to improve the quality of cancer care throughout the state.
