Seay is New Georgia CORE Board Chairman

Thomas E. Seay, MD, PhD is the new chairman of the Georgia CORE Board of Directors. Dr. Thomas Seay has been a part of Georgia CORE since its inception, serving on the executive committee for development and incorporation of the organization. Dr. Seay is principal investigator for the Atlanta Regional Community Clinical Oncology Program. He has served as an advocate for incorporation of an integrated electronic medical record in the community oncology practice setting. Dr. Seay received his Doctor of Medicine from the James H. Quillian College School of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee, and completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Emory University School of Medicine. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences (Molecular Immunology) from East Tennessee State University. Dr. Seay is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
