Conferences

Part of Georgia CORE’s mission is to keep health care providers in the state up to date on the most effective and promising cancer care and treatment techniques available. By promoting the awareness and use of best practices among health care professionals, cancer survivors and caregivers in Georgia will experience the highest quality care. Georgia CORE continues to develop innovative conferences to enhance collaboration among oncology professionals in the state and improve the experience of patients and caregivers throughout their cancer journey.

In its inaugural year, the Atlanta Pancreas Cancer Conference developed by Destroy Pancreatic Cancer, Piedmont Cancer and Medical College of Wisconsin aims to bring together the brightest healthcare and scientific minds in pancreatic cancer care. Piedmont Cancer is committed to increasing survival rates for pancreatic cancer patients by providing the most advanced therapies available to patients living in the Southeast. Faculty from the Medical College of Wisconsin and Piedmont Cancer will be joined by Dr. Robert Wolff from M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, an internationally known medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
