6/21/2024
Georgia CORE is excited to announce the release of a new Request for Proposals (RFP) for the FY2025 Georgia Breast Cancer License Tag (BCLT) Grant Program.
The purpose of the BCLT Grant Program is to expand breast cancer screening, including education, outreach, and access, as well as treatment services for the medically indigent, consistent with clinical standards of care.
Funds generated from the sale and renewal of the Breast Cancer License Tags are available to non-profit organizations and public health agencies, to be distributed through an RFP process. Awards of up to $30,000 will be made for Treatment Service Projects and for Education, Prevention, and Screening Services Projects.
Last year, Georgia CORE awarded $200,000 to six Georgia-based organizations.
Entities with outstanding funding or incomplete progress reports from the previous grant period are not eligible to apply for an additional grant during this funding cycle.
Complete applications must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Friday August 16, 2024. Awards will be announced in September 2024.
