10th Meeting Atlanta Lung Cancer Symposium 2016

All Day

Lowes Atlanta Hotel Conference Venue
1065 Peachtree Street NE
Atlanta, GA 30309

This one-day meeting will address the latest strategies and state-of-the-art approaches for managing lung cancer. The Atlanta Lung Cancer Symposium (ALCS), now in its tenth year, is a pioneering educational program that incorporates a multidisciplinary approach to presenting the most current literature and research related to lung cancer patient care. This is accomplished by four means: (1) engaging top lung cancer experts as faculty, whose research and practices are at the cutting edge of lung cancer treatment; (2) collaboration between these experts and the meeting co-chairs to generate an agenda that highlights emerging therapies and recent data; (3) utilizing plenary sessions; and (4) incorporating panel discussions as well as question and answer periods. To provide optimal care for patients with lung cancer, clinicians must continually evaluate novel treatment options and implement best practices regarding diagnosis and treatment. The latest clinical trial data and practice guidelines need to be routinely assessed and reviewed in order to be current and most impactful to the patient. Practitioners attending ALCS will emerge from the program updated on recent data and armed with new tools to help them improve clinical outcomes. Join us for this exceptional educational opportunity! This activity is jointly provided by SynAptiv and Phillips Gilmore Oncology Communications, Inc. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Nursing contact hours and pharmacy credit will also be provided for this activity.
