With a 25-year career in university administration and management, Lynn is a former Georgia CORE director and volunteer and three-time cancer survivor. She is the mother of twins – a grown son and daughter who share in her love of sports, especially watching the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. For Georgia CORE, Lynn works with partners and the board of directors to lead the organization’s efforts to improve access to clinical trials, as well as personalized cancer care and support for patients, survivors, and caregivers. She also conducts critical outreach on behalf of the organization to state legislators and officials.

Lynn spent the majority of her career in higher education administration at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she served as associate vice president and chief of staff to President G.P. “Bud” Peterson and later as vice president for Institute Relations where she oversaw federal, state, and local government and community relations, as well as economic development interactions with state and local governments.

She holds a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Georgia, a master’s degree in Public Administration from Kennesaw State University, and a bachelor’s degree from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. A graduate of the 2013 class of Leadership Georgia, Lynn is a member of the steering committee for the Georgia Cancer Control Consortium, the executive committee of Georgia NCORP (NCI Community Oncology Research Program), and the board of directors of the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology.
